it wasnt just windy today or very windy.. today, i experienced a FORCE OF NATURE. seriously the first time ive experienced such strong winds..a quick look at e weather forecast said tt e winds were travelling at 55mph. that when compared to a normal day when its about 5-10mph seriously blows u away..pun intended. hehheh anyway its kinda fun in a way..cos its an interesing experience haha sometimes the wind blew fr behind and it really pushed me along such tt i walked faster but there were also a few times when i got pushed offbalance and stumbled around a bit..that is scary..for 2 seconds ur mind blanks out and thinks of nothing except keeping ur balance and not falling over.. the wind even shook e buildings..could hear it from inside the lecture theare n e screen was all rickety cos of it.. was a lil scared that glass would start shattering and buildings collapse. heh anyway.. last week was fun =) dinner parties, flowers n presents always make the week really good =D

here's me with e enormous bouquet of gerberas tt the girlies sent!!! whaaa soo big and bright!!!its hard to not grin from cheek to cheek when i see it =D i had to take em out of e bouquet though cos had to put em in water so they last longer...was heart wrenching to take the bouquet apart n trim e stems so that they could fit into the only semblence of a vase i have-my water jug.. hahah but yea they were wilting in e bouquet n after putting em in e water they recovered n looked a whole whole lot better! and they're still alright today!! so pretty!! =D and hehheh there'smy desk as u can all see.. its been well colonised..just like how bacterial cells form a lawn of colonies over the agar plate, similarly my stuff is all over e place..heh -snigger- but i must say i rather like e way things are, in a nice organised mess such that the room looks nicely lived in.. another section of my roomm..a girl cant survive without a dressing table and a mirror.seriously.that is no joke. since there was no dressing table, the obvious solution was to put my stuff on the only place avaliable which is e shelf and luck of all luck the mirror is on e door of my cupboard which is right next the the shelf when opened!! so now the door is always open cos its just too troublsome to keep opening n shutting it. haha. and look..!plumpkin n *heehaw the lamb (which bong gave to mee!!)hav a really nice posh, classy seat!..kopped e plate out of e dining room when i had to save dinner for rachel one day cos i was too lazy to go get a disposable plate..haha its expensive cos apparently i'll be fined $26 if i get caught =X but i think i din so alternatively its free accomodation for the 2 darlings..haha the piece above the shelf was acquired at a poster sale in the uni.. i hadn seen it before but the moment i saw it i knew i had to have it. its such a nice painting.. here's a better look at it. its called Interior with Open windows by Raoul Dufy. the poster i have is a bit different from this one cos the colours are a bit deeper and more pronounced..nicer in other words..haha but yea this is it. i guess what attracted me is really the subject matter and the perspective.. its interesting cos i guess a lot of pictures are just scenes of certain things happening or of the thing itself but this one actually captures the view from a view where both are equally important and brought out. haha im not trying to sound snooty and artsy critiqueish..just expressing myself.. =D there's gona be a ball at college tomorrow..its a masquerade ball/bursury dinner/masters dance. dont ask me why it has so many names. haha.. i bought myself a dress thats too expensive but as biao says, i dont buy dresses often..so i suppose its fair to spend more on a really nice one that i love rather than a cheaper one tts not as nice.. im sure the ball n after party's gona be so cool..theres apparently a live band!! wheee and since winter appears to be ending..hopefully it wont be too cold at night out in e lawn!!! random. a seth line in e last episode of the oc tt i thought was really funny .."the way thing've been going, I bet thats oliver" btw..the third season is gona start showin in the us on sept 8..which means i think i shd be able to get it off e college network not long after!!woohoo!! okay i've said way too much and blogged for way too long.. dinner time,tutorial at 7.30. chemistry test tomorrow, history assignment due on friday. enough said. Swan Lake did something really cool yesterday.. i watched e russian ballet! if ur sharp enough and ur a bit disturbed abt a line u see on e phamphlet tts a bit disturbing..hehh dun worry our swan lake had none of tt..its only in romeo&juilet which is covered by the ticket..it has captivating and sensual nudity in it..hahaha i seriously question why they included it..doesnt it kinda lower their standard that way? hmm anyways.. the swan lake was good though..but i think i prefer plays and musicals.. i love their dancing, its really beautiful and makes me wish i could dance like them.. =D haha but i think i need more drama and more plot.. we're o-wingers! me, simon n abby! and tts e o-wing board and i have spit on my head -_-" haha. otherwise, i think a really nice picture.. so beautiful isnt this =) the fireplace is real and so cool(hot)!! outside her majesty's theatre. ..this ones so pretty too =) the cafe on lygon street tt we walked to from the theatre..and we walked home fr there.. which added up to walking home fr the theatre.. ..which means i walked home from the city-in a skirt-in heels-in winter!!! i impress myself so much sometimes =P funny shot 1-christine and cecilia do a really gd scary face impression dont they!!! funny shot 2-it has me in it but im not gonna show it to u =P haha funny shot 3-is a pic of a certain person whose name starts with a ra and ends with a chel..but she disallows me to put it up so i shall be respectful =P hahaha Thing of the day!!!~besides the whole ballet going experience which was a gd one and my first real cultural/social experience here in melbourne! woohoo score!! .. italian hot chocolate!!which was really nutella hot chocolate tt i had at e cafe..whoaa heaven in cup!!!
