reading wins blog makes me feel really ashamed of how mine is so unupdated. ..so i shall update now. haha.. its quite amazing how so many things change within 2 months..makes you think about how much more different things will be if you leave the place for like 10years or smth! the first thing you notice when you return home after a long term stay elsewhere, is the things that you have not noticed before. like the humidity. the legendary experience of feeeeling the singapore heat and humidity after being in a cold country definitely hit, and hit me hard it did. the moment i stepped out of the airport i could really really feel how thick the air was. its as if invisible walls of the earth were closing down on me. haha but i really appreciated the fact that i was not freezing my ass of at the same time. and i really dont really mind the heat that much. you may hear me complaining about the heat when i go out but really definitely do prefer it to the cold. im just so glad that i dont have to wear thick heavy jackets around anymore..bleahh. second thing. there's a new bus that comes to the stop outside my house! bus 57 goes to harbour front! arghhh why do good things always happen only after you dont need them to happen anymore!!!!! sheesh. thirdly theres a new tap tt dispenses filtered water installed in my kitched sink. fourth: the cine bustop is gone. fifth: umm i'll tell u when i find out.. haha ok so thats not really a lot of things which have changed..but anww..moving on.. since i've been home on sat night, ive been to din tai fung for xiao long baos, been to town,bought and had mooncakes (!score!), beenback to SA with winnies which was very fun =D haha,went out with you..had a mushroom swiss, had nachos with cheese (which they dun have in aussie! -apalled-), watched be with me-which btw is quite an interesting show. though the concept of having seemingly random stories turning out to be intertwined is not very original,the local flavour and the silentness of the show did make it a rather nice/unique film. been to the vatican exhibition which i wanted to go to before i left, met winnies there by chance..hahah my side of the story is: biao and i were walking out of the mueseum shop and we saw a whole crowd of students outside. i was thinking hmm must be an excursion of some sort and then ayeee guess who i seee hahaha.. and thanks!! yahh i think the skirts very pretty too =D hahahhaha. went shopping and bought myself a boho skirt..after much consideration and im sure biao would agree hahaha..saw the mary janes tt bongsy has tt i like at half price now!!! but they dun hav my size =P blearhh, tried the fried mars bars (very very nice but do not eat if you have a sore throat), had the grilled chicken rice set at ps foodcourt, watched the brothers grimm (4.5 stars outa 5) interesting and exciting!if you love your fairy tales you will love this show, went to esplanade and played warcraft. hahahahaha yes i play warcraft now all thanks to jianwey. not bad for 3days worth yah =D --- William Wordsworth Daffodils I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. 1)get the songs -wu ding by jay chou & landy -just a ride by jem 2)put it in itunes in that order respectively 3)push play and listen!!! itunes fades ur music in and out so it links ur songs nicely together..i found by chance that those 2 songs link together very well so it sounds fantastically smooth.. it helps a lot tt i love those 2 songs..im gona play it again.. Thing of the day!!!~protherians, metatherians, eutherians and etruscans just cos i always mix those 2 up. btw..i got a H1 for my essay on roman gladiatorial shows!!!!! how awesome is that!!! tts like <80%.. woohooo!! =D bragging rights obtained. haha.. i almost couldn find my grade on my essay cos it was just above my name where my tutor wrote some comments and i thought he wrote hi christina. hahaha
