today would be what i would call perfection. (almost) early afternoon at sentosa..beach!! ive been craving to go to the sand and the sea for a long time!! we took the new train from vivo! they use disposable cardboard tickets ez-link style..everythings so..ez these days! i definitely prefer trains to buses. theyve got a new tram thing going on at sentosa too..but those trams are a bit..scary..the engine was horrendously loud and when we were going uphill it made huge grunting noises like it was using all its strength just to climb up that little slope..desperately needs some zhng imo. after rushing home to wash the beach off ourselves, sam and i met again to watch the rehearsal for fundamentally happy by the necessary stage. sam was going to take photos for them, so i got to tag along and watch that awesome play for free! 1 set, 1h20mins. 1h20mins of conversation. cast of 2. much much enjoyment! wonderfully written script that was well sustained throughout the entire play and the flow of thought as the play progress was very..fluent.. besides the play itself, it was also really interesting to watch the rehearsal stuff..which reminds me of a thing i need to do before i die..be in a production! after the play, we got to wonder around the national museum.. sam thinks that museums are scary and she said there was a haunted staircase somewhere around..i really wanted to go to the staircase n take some pictures..but sam was dead set against that idea..hehheh for desert after dinner, we got to watch dance forest by andy wong. big thanks to rachel for the free tixs!! =D it was a contemporary dance performance by just 2 guys.. very conceptual i must say ,quote rachel, haha.. i thought it was really unconventional! its cool to see different things. i'd say today was definitely one of the best days of the holiday...beach, free shows(that are good!), best friend!! would have been the best if i had my sweetie too! holidays are coming to and end..mann i wish i had more days like this Thing of the day!!!~just the whole of today!

i wanna watch more movies i was just lamenting to biao to the other day that its been a long time since ive read a book that is sooo good that i cant put it down..or watched a movie that i love sooo much.. ..but then.. i watched Pan's Labyrinth and it is sooo good! i regret not going to the cinema to watch it! if i enjoyed it a slightly blurry version of it on a laptop screen,i think i would have loved it in the cinema. highly recommended for people who like fantasy stuff and are not scared of ugly creatures. i gave it 4/5 stars after watching it..but now that ive read somemore stuff about it and had time to let it settle in my memory..i think it deserves 4.5/5 *s. ive discovered a new thing with regards to watching movies. halfway through the movie, i will know whether i like the movie or not. if its halfway or more than halfway through the show..and youre still waiting for something to happen to make u intrigued..or waiting for the explosive end..FORGET IT.. its not going to happen. thats been really true for the past couple of shows that i watched... for golden flower, when i realised what they were getting at..i decided i didnt like it..and i didnt. really didnt. i cringed through the whole second half of the show from when they started fighting.the only good thing about that show was the jay chou song. then, with labyrinth, halfway through i decided i liked it..and i did! a lot! babel and casino royale would be what i call 3.5/5 star shows..nothing very outstanding about them..they didnt make me bored nor excited while watching it..but after it all, still rather entertaining soo its worth the watch.. the last dance is 3/5. an artsy twist to a chinese assasin show...worth watching to support the local industry. =D so there i go.. i like watching movies Thing of the day!~Movies
