I suddenly got this excellent idea of naming my future dogs after my favourite chocolates, in particular Twix and Sneakers (Crunchy). Then, I realised that that is ironic as chocolates would be the death of them.
Thing of the day!~ Resolution: to stop using ... as punctuation, and punctuate appropriately instead.
p.s. I rock because I finished writing the bleeding vph essay.

i find it many many times easier to critically evaluate someone elses work as opposed to coming up with my own shit. is that saying something about myself? or is that what its like for other people too?

quote of the day (adapted from what Bena said cos i dont remember what were the exact words she said)
"Bloody hell. We pay so much and they don't even print notes for us. Let's cut up all their foetuses."
by foetuses i mean the animal foetus specimens given to us for dissection. see we had 2 specimens, and we could have just left the other one untouched for the next group..but as said above, we decided not to. but it was good that we cut it actually, cos the calf foetus was in a much later stage of development as compared to the sheep one we cut up first, and so the organs and stuff were kinda nicer to look at.
in more dissection news, i believe i have truly grown as a veterinary science student. from fainting in my first dissection class, to feeling a distinct distaste for meat after a dissection, to having dissection for breakfast followed by beef bulgogi for lunch.

chicken pox is not a pox virus. it is from the herpesviridae family. yes it is what you think it is. it is a HERPES VIRUS. the same kind of herpes virus that causes the std; except that its not the same virus.. its the herpes simplex virus that gives cold sores and genital warts. but anyhow, chicken pox is a herpes virus and once you are infected, you are INFECTED FOR LIFE. the virus stays in your neurones forever, and if you're lucky, it will stay asleep in your neurones forever. but if youre unlucky..pop goes the weasel and you get shingles (stress seems to be an inducer of this reactivation of the otherwise latent virus)
therefore, all who have gotten chicken pox before are at risk of getting shingles.
now isnt that chipper =D . LOL.
i dont know about you, but i was kinda shocked to know that ive got a freaking herpes virus having a nice holiday rolling around my neurones.
