i couldn't get my point-and-shoot to focus on the food and after a few tries i wanted to get to eating my lunch and so i stopped trying. but i think this has actually lent a nice artistic/poetic edge to the photo. the juxtaposition of the immediate focus vs the main constant focus of a student. hmmmmm.. the things you create by accident!

While waiting for the water to boil, heat up half a cup of milk in the microwave (a couple of rounds will do)

oh and when getting a measuring jug, it's worth while getting a glass one cos then u can microwave things like your milk directly inside it, and its also much easier to wash. oily plastic things are a pain in the *** to wash.

firstly, the hole at the top was cut too small.. and this made it really hard to scrape the coconut flesh off from inside. not that the flesh was worth the trouble spent to scrape it out cos it was not sweet and hardish.
next, the juice..it was not just not sweet, it was even slightly sour!

kids are even cuterr!!! i mean the baby goats..not the human ones.. human kids are just..annoying. hahahaha.. today was day 2 at Hay Dairies. its not as easy as it looks to milk goats using those vacuum pumps. we also got to try milking them manually...WHAAAA squeeze until siao lah! but otherwise, its quite fun actually..hahaha

its interesting how a change in circumstances totally changes your idea of a blessing.

like for example,
