hello world! im back from perth and into week 2 of spring break!and the holidays been great so far..havnt touched any work at all..haha..stayed at my godmum's place in perth and went to few places around the area..dunsborough, which is this nice quiet seaside holiday place where people buy holiday houses and they go there to have.. well..holidays. the pinnacles desert..and i went sand boarding!hahaa got many mouthfulls of sand..but it was fun anyway.., also went to fremantle, port town nearby the city and i had lunch at this huge fish n chips place called cicerello's. i love fish. perth isnt that boring lah..in fact i even found some other places that i wana go to the next time i go to WA. theres the monkey mia dolphins i wana go see..and the valley of giants which is this tree top walk..walk already then i tell you how it compares to mc ritchies treetopwalk..hahaha no pics for now..cos..lazy.. =P anyways im currently residing in amanda's nice apartment =D haha..THANK YEW amanda for letting me stay at your house ..hehheh amanda's such a sweetie =D oh n thanks bena too cos technically im staying in her room..haha.. right now im using amanda's mac and shes watching kill bill in the living room. kill bill is an awesome show..abit bloody..but its so fantastically artistically done that the blood can be ignored. anyway..amanda keeps asking me stuff abt the movie..and i realise that i cant remember that much of movies that ive seen..i just remember whether theyre good or bad.hahahaa..ohh the movies over now..n im hogging the com..hehheh..ok i shall go now..we're going to the royal melbourne show tomorrow!!! ohh..and fellow people who live in melbourne and love krispy kremes. theres officially a krispy kreme in the city. at the intersection of collins st and spencer street you will see this massive line and you will know that krispy kreme is there. so ridiculous the line i tell u! we passed by today and i really wish i had a camera to capture the madness. its like hello kitty fever comes to melbourne.hahahahahaaa Thing of the day!!!~cooking my own steak in 10mins!! what looked like almost a disaster turned out to taste quite nice =D hahahaha

lets just say, that while the past 2 weeks has been the helliest weeks of the term for me as yet...the weekends have been the most awesomeee weeekends of the sem too!!! a weekend ago i went on a ski trip organised by the thai students society..aka supa(hahaha), 14 other ormondians, and kai shian and jo-ann and jimson..so that was effectivly ormond asian ski weekend..hehh anyway,skiing is da bombbb!!! yea the gear is heavy like hell, the gloves extremely cumbersome and NOT waterproof, and the boots veryvery uncomfortable..(i couldnt feel my toes and when i returned them i asked the guy whats wrong with the boots and he said that i wore a boot tt was too large but too tightly fastened and so my blood circulation was cut off..thankgoodness i didnt lose my toe..) BUT feeling yourself slide down the snow, cutting the edges as you turn, almost falling but getting back your control at the last second..speeedinggg down the last 50m effortlessly with the wind swoshing past your face..mann the feeling is extremely satisfying..mount buller was in a bit of a shit condition while we were there..its spring now already so when we were there, there hadn been new snow for quite a while..so the main run was all mostly manmade snow and everywhere else was just brownn.lol. see the brown along the right of the slope (this is the main beginners slope)..thats supposed to be white.and the gravel we're standing on..thats meant to be covered in snow. bugger buller. anyway, it was pretty nice weather to ski in..i dont like cold..so since it wasnt that cold, i was happy..haha took lessons from the buller ski school and sadly, our instructor wasnt a cute hunky young guy but was an old man..hahaha. the lesson helped a lot..but he didnt tell us that we were supposed to go down the slope from side to side!!!!as in you're supposed to control your speed by turning so you're kinda moving down the slope diagionally..we didnt know that and we rushed straight down the slope and had massive massive wipeouts!!! i tell you i crashed and flew veryvery far away. and i did that i think about 2more times until some of the guys who had skiied before told us that we gota go down from side to side -_- anyway..it was actually kinda fun to crash bigbig..hahaha its an experience in itself =P haha on the ski lift..which doesnt really show you anything from here..but nevermind..ski lifts are fun and scary at the same time..the price of the ski lift past is just scary =x so day 1 was great..but day 2 was like this and i was like this very cold very wet but still happy..hahaha that day, it stormed, hailed, snowed and visibility was about 5m. i was really scared to ski in such harsh conditions at first..haha..but we tried skiing in lightish rain using the free magic carpet ride up a short distane of slope and when i found that hey, even though i cant see further than 5m...all i realy need to see is the 5m in front of me..and even though some snow had become ice..but the main areas were still snow..so..yea heck!i was there to ski and ski was i going to!!!so i bought the ski lift pass and skiing i went!! ..with the hope that the weather would get better..but after a few runs, it just didnt clear up at all,and the few of us that decided to ski decided to go for lunch. while we were lunching,the rain became snow!!!!for about 10secs..hahahaha but you know any snow is better than rain.i wanted to go outside n feel snowflakes land on my nose but i took off my bloodcirculation cutting boots and it was too hard to put them back on so i stayed in..haha..then...after lunch....the weather became betterish! it stopped raining so hard and the fog cleared up a bit more..hehheh..so up and down the slope we went for about 3hours nonstop..actually after the first day, i wanted to try out the intermediate slope on the second day..but cos the weather was so crap i decided not to risk my neck..oh well.. next year, BACK TO THE SNOW I WILL GO!!!!! =D more pics..hehheh this is the intermediate slope..i didnt go there..haha a final group photo back at ormond front doors Thing of the day/week/month/year!!!~ Band: DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL!!!!!!!! i went for their concert last friday..and oh.my. they are absolutely amazing!!!! chris carrabba sounds great live and his singing is really special cos he adds such emotion to the sound of the songs and not a lot of bands are like that.. i love it!! after the concert, i realised that my cam is really not that good..my video footage is rather crap, so with compliments of jimson's camera, i present to you, Rooftops and Invitations from their latest album Dusk and Summer. dashboard confessional rocks!!! ...hands down this is the best day i can ever remember, always remember the sound of the stereo, the dim of the soft lights...
