listening to Jack Johnson makes me feel like im in an endless sunny meadow with pretty daisies and sweet scented grass. wearing a pretty sundress that flutters around in the breeze, with a big floppy hat, reading a nice book under a tree or strolling around with not a care in the world. much different to being in a four walled room. seated on chair in front of desk. staring out to more walls.

Clare in Melb! theres really nothing like meeting up with a fellow twelvie =) ..you guys are really like family!! outside Mag Nation (Elizabeth St, btw Collins and Flinders.)(oh thats the scarf you guys bought for me =) i likey! haha..) i cant believe ive been in melb for 2 years and not known this place. its got 2 whole levels of magazines of all genres and you jus buy your coffee/tea and read magazines for as long as you want! awesome! oh man! if i lived in the city and had lots of free time, i would totally go to this cafe ALL THE TIME. plus, currently they're having this thing where u get to roll a die after you order your drink, and if you rolled even, your drink is free! how fun is that! seriously, i could go there everyday. haha. sucks to exams and expensive tram rides. i think the AV block in me's to blame.. first there was Toga, then there was the human..hahaha Diagnosis Wenckebach thanks to clare! =P -.- bird prac at werribee today! we handled canneriers,finches, this spotted dovetail thing(forgot the exact name) and pigeons. of all of them, the pigeons were the easiest to handle cos they dont peck ( i got pecked by a yellow cannery cos i didnt hold it properly =( ) or scratch and theyre big so u can hold them without being afraid of squishing them to death. and we took samples of their feaces to look at under the microscope.its called a wet feacal prep. how gross sounding is that. haha. we an escaped pigeon,finch and budgie during the course of the prac and it was quite amusing to watch the demonstrators use their butterfly nets to catch the birds. and a pic of the lovely horses on site thrown in for good measure =) -.- Guide Dogs Facility went down to the Guide Dogs breeding and training center yesterday.. they only had labradors there and the puppies were the cutest things ever!!!! everyone totally went gaagaaa (literally) over them...hehheh.. a guide dog is worth about 25k and they are provided free of charge to their owners. tts pretty cool. the puppie totally blends into my sweater..maybe no one would have noticed if i took it home...ahahaha we got to try bring led by a guide dog while being blindfolded..but the trainer was guiding the guide dog along the way. haha.. good thing otherwise i think it would have been quite scary.. very trust walk-ish. Thing of the day!!!~Food: KFC Wicked Wings. 3 fat juicy wings for $2.25. very worth it!!

LUSH there are heaps of photos tt i could post on my blog that would make first year vet seem very deceivingly exciting.. lots of guts, gore and the occasional cute animal involved. but since im so very very busy and it feels like theres no time to do anything else besides try to get work done.. blogging becomes time spent unnecessarily. hence, there are very few posts, and my life doesnt seem as exciting as it could potentially seem. with that said, uni isnt totally boring. its just boring most of the time. and those times which seem exciting and fun, are mostly 20% excitment 80% hard, tiring work. so because i do think that we do do some pretty cool and really fun stuff.. im gonna post pics up after all! haha.. but not today..cos theres no time today. hahaha today.. im gonna tell you about this cool shop called LUSH. the bag says it all.. its too bad i dont have a pic of the shop itself, cos its really nice and really organic looking..and all the colourful soaps look so delicious they kinda look like ice cream or candy and it feels like u can eat it!! haha ohh and the service is great at LUSH. they have big bowls of clean water next to the products..and when i told the salesgirl that i was looking for facial cleanser she recommended stuff to me helped me to test them out..so what she did, is she took a nice liberal amount of the stuff, used the water to make it pasty and spread the stuff over the back of my hand. then she put my hand into the bowl to clean all of it off..and because there were 2 things i was interested in she let me test both so i could compare the effect! marvellous job i tell u.. anyway so i ended up buying this its called Angels on Bare Skin how sweet is that! its got rose and lavender in it (those purple things on the top are lavender buds) and it leaves ur skin feeling really nice and supple after you use it. i love it!! iLUSH. -.- i finished my assignments for the semsester!!! WONDERFUL!! now i can spend all my time studying!!!!! im actually happy to say that. ha.ha.ha. assignments are such annoying things. they destroy your study schedule and make u unable to do other things effectively until u finish it. writing reports are such strange events. the only way for me to write one is for me to get 'possessed' by this 'writing muse'. really..its so strange, but i think i know how it happens. u see, u cant force writing. writing happens when it is ready..and until then, i cant even bring myself to start. so i think my way of working is basically like..i have this report to do..but i cant get to work on it straight away..i have to let the idea of the report settle for a while..then do some research. after doing the research i'll be so sick of the thing i wont wana touch it. and when i dont touch it i dont touch it for quite a long time..but during that time, i keep having this feeling that i wana write it, i wana write it and finish it..so by the time i sit down to write, i would have a whole lot of drive to write the thing. and it happens! the thoughts formulate themselves and suddenly i know how to structure the essay and what to include in the report when i previously had no idea. and once i get started and the ideas flow.. i cant stop. the thoughts are flowing so well that i dont want to stop because im terrified that i'll lose my ideas! and so i write for hours until the whole thing is complete and i am very pleased with myself. wonderful. is the feeling when u finish assignments.
